Job Role as a Home Care Assistant
As a Home Care Assistant at Alcester Home Care, your main responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality in-home care includes assisting with daily activities such as medication management, meal preparation, bathing, and companionship.
Our Home Care Assistants also monitor clients’ conditions, report changes to healthcare professionals, and maintain a safe, clean environment for the client. They will also regularly communicate with clients and their families ensuring appropriate care and updates whenever necessary

To be successful as a Home Care Assistant, you should have the following skills and experience:
Interpersonal Skills
Effective communication and attentive listening skills are crucial for building a relationship with clients and gaining a clear understanding of their needs.
Compassion & Patience
A willingness to help others, offering kindness and compassion, whilst remaining calm and patient in various situations.
Team & Independant Working
Able to work as part of a team to deliver care in the most efficient way. You may also be required to work independently.
Positive Mindset
You will be the face of Alcester Home Care and play an important part in our client’s lives with the ability to impact their lives in a positive way.
Driving Licence
You will be required to drive too and from clients homes. Home Care Asistants must have a full Driving licence and access to a vehicle with Class 1 Business Insurance.
Willingness to Learn
Previous experience is not mandatory needed as full training will be given. You will be required to complete all provided training in a timely manor.
