  • More than the national average per hour in your hourly wage.
  • More than average for mileage between visits.
  • If you are travelling in addition to mileage.
  • For late cancellations.

We ensure that you are notified in good time about your rota and work schedule. We strive to keep your rota as routine and consistent as possible from week to week with the same clients to enable you to build lasting relationships.

You don’t have to be an experienced carer, what matters is your values. We believe anyone who has the right values can be an excellent carer and we are happy to put the time into you and your training to help apply those values and deliver high-quality compassionate care to our clients.

At Alcester Home Care we are happy to offer:

  • £11.75 per hour during the week, and £12.25 per hour for senior carers
  • £13.00 per hour for weekend work
  • Paid travel time between calls at the national living wage rate
  • Paid mileage (35p per mile)
  • Paid training and meeting time

A Day in the Life

As a carer, no two days are ever the same. Your typical day will be varied depending on the clients you are seeing and their individual needs. Some of the tasks you will be faced with might include assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, providing companionship and emotional support, administering medication, and helping with mobility and exercises.

Each day is unique, and you will be building meaningful relationships with our clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
